Hi, this is Rocco. He is a 7 year old neutered male ( Lurcher x Ridgeback ASSUMED ) We got Rocco when he was a few months old. Due to some unfortunate circumstances we are having to find Rocco a forever loving home 🏡
Rocco is ok with kids however we would suggest NO kids or at least older kids that know boundaries & that are calm.
Rocco has lived with dogs & is generally ok with them however he likes his personal space & he prefers female dogs.
Rocco is neutered.
Rocco is vaccinated.
Rocco is flea & wormed.
Rocco is generally a warey dog with strangers, he barks when someone approaches the house however after a sniff he is generally ok.
Rocco prefers If he approaches someone first for a fuss, rather than someone approaching him.
He suffers with anxiety when left alone & he does urinate in the house when done, however we believe with correct training this could be prevented.
Rocco does not like loud environments, he prefers a calm space & he is a couch sloth.
Rocco is good on lead, not tested off lead as he is a big dog & he does like to jump low gates.
Not tested with cats.

Out of experience Rocco has growled at loud experiences ( If any siblings etc are fighting / arguing, he has also nipped on 2 occasions due to 2 of his family play fighting )
Rocco is a playful dog, he is loving however its very much on his terms.
Rocco would benefit from very experienced dog owners, someone who specialises in his breed, someone who has enough room & time to take him out to stimulate his brain.
We will not be passing Rocco over to anyone, we will want to complete home checks & will want to know more about potential owners.
