Monty is a rescue from Cyprus who is in the UK and looking for his perfect forever home.
He is a small terrier type weighing around 7.5 kg and currently living in the Nuneaton area.
Monty had a tough start to life. He lacks confidence and can be overwhelmed in certain situations. However, when he is relaxed, he has a very happy face with such a waggy tail as he goes about his favourite job of rummaging around in the undergrowth.
He has gained some confidence with his current carer, but this will take time to build up when he moves to his new home. He quickly makes a bond with one person and looks to them for reassurance.
Monty is looking for an experienced adult only home, preferably with terrier experience. He is not a fan of cats and we think he would prefer being the only pet in his new home as he can be nervous with other dogs too. He would like his new human(s) to be prepared to let him adjust into his new home at his own speed.
A safe and secure garden is a must.

He has been vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
Minimum adoption donation of £200 applies.
ADOPTION IS SUBJECT TO A SATISFACTORY APPLICATION AND HOME CHECK.
Post adoption support is available from our rescue.
Our rescue must be informed at any time of a change in circumstances and our dog returned to one of our volunteers where required. Monty must never be handed over to any UK Rescue or sold or adopted on without our knowledge. We always accept the return of our dogs and will endeavour to rehome them accordingly.
