🐾 8 years old approx
🐾 small size, corgi mix
🐾 neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, 4d and brucellosis tested, fully vet checked (xrays, blood work)
🐾 Delilah was found in 2022 being dumped with her 5 female puppies on the road at the outskirts of town. I got a call and pictures fron her trying to shelter her puppies from the rain terribly scared and vulnerable and went to pick them up. I put them in their own room with heating on, lots of food and rest for mom and safe space for the pups to grow up. They each got adopted in the UK but there was mo interest in mom Delilah. She remained for more than a year and a half after her children were gone and she withdrew herself becoming less and less trusting in humans. Luckily, a volunteer from England came twice to visit us and work with her in a successful attempt to tame her and make her less anxious. He's the person who's fostering her now in England. She traveled after being fully vet checked because I noticed she's getting out of breath sometimes and after doing an xray we saw that she is having a smaller trachea and thus needs to be taking it easy and not overwhelm herself. Symptoms similar to asthma. We also found out she's been shot with an airgun (still has the pellet in her). Even though the shooting didn't damage her health it definitely traumatized her and I can completely understand why she was so uncomfortable around people before her fosterer met her.
🐾 Delilah needs a quiet home with chilled people. Lots of love and cuddles and patience and rest and nice snacks to live her retirement days at.
