DescriptionPUZZLE MASTER is a lovely natured, well-handled, easy, up to date great on the roads, child/disabled friendly approx. 12.2hh to make ca. 12.3hh, about 3years old high stepping cob gelding & experienced driving pony with kind eyes. In our opinion backed to the cart too early, so we put him right, worked with him, allowed him to mature, bulk out & just know what it is to be loved & enjoy life.
Grateful & not easily spooked - been super even out on the busy main road with much traffic/lots of heavy lorries, tractors etc.
So easy I can't imagine it would be hard or take very long to bring him back into driving or to back him to ride. If you don't see him with tack it does NOT mean to say he is wild, He is very tame but we simply do not believe in backing any pony to ride till they are four years old. Better to wait till they are more mature & the spine is stronger - saves vets bills and discomfort for the pony in the long run and you can still have so much fun with the pony till then.
He should be easy to take to the beach, forests etc for walks. Kids and the disabled can fuss over him and really bond with him.
He is not easily spooked but they can practise blue tarp etc etc with him.
Maybe they will find something he is not used to.
Could be a fun pony for kids.
Likely to make a lovely kids', small teen's or petit adult's riding pony, big lead rein, Pony Club pet, first/second ridden, ride & drive etc.
Been through usual isolation/checks & no signs of sickness, laminitis, sweet itch, asthma, lumps or bumps etc. Checked by vet & age established. Been castrated/gelded.
Microchipped & passported.
Not a too big a fan of jabs, but had 1st/2nd Flue & Tetanus vaccinations and is learning.
He is new to that side of things.
Shoes are off but did have front shoes on when he came for them driving him around town and to the horse fair.
His feet have here been trimmed every 6 wks here & good for farrier.
Washed, deliced, wormed etc.
Been easy to catch (comes to whistle). Good to tie up, stand, brush, wash, worm, rug up, pleat, lead, dress up, load & travel & have all four feet picked.
Loves kids/disabled brushing him & taking out for walks in forest. Good/calm alone or in company.
Happy in or out in mixed herd.
Good with others. Not late cut.
Easy ride & drive cobs like him often go for a staggering £6K-£8K.
Our re-homing fee is only £1,200 as seen to find him a good home as we are not for profit, but person must be kind & have suitable place or paddock to keep him.
Full ownership, passport + signed receipt given.
Cost price UK wide transport can be arranged if paid up front. Happy to quote if we have the postcode.
Open to viewing & vetting.
I doubt you will be disappointed.
He is lovely.
Has to be seen to be believed.
