A rescue shelter in Transylvania, Romania where over 200 dogs are being looked after by Dora, a local school teacher, and a small team of volunteers. We established a sister charity in the UK and our first two dogs arrived from Romania in April 2014. We have now brought over and rehomed over 1500 dogs. All our dogs undergo extensive health checks before arriving in the UK including full blood screening, rabies and all normal vaccinations, they are microchipped, kennel cough vaccination (not puppies) and wormed and flea and tick treated. Adult dogs are also neutered. We offer a full aftercare service for adopting/fostering families through our network of people in the UK.
